Allen Thomas is a researcher with a background in psychology, education, and DEI. Growing up in Arkansas and graduating from Little Rock Central High School, he later got his PhD in Counseling Psychology and did research on topics including comics, media, race, and sexual orientation. After working in higher education as a faculty member and administrator, he took the leap to ux research after seeing the depth of marginalization in the higher education system. A big nerd, he likes to spend his time playing video games, making art, or just chilling, and loves to consider what a more just and liberated world looks like by examining psychology, behavior, and media.
